Firstly, The JCS Lung and Sleep Centre is an Advanced Center of Lung & Sleep Center for Respiratory, Sleep disorders, Pulmonary and Critical care, it is the first of its kind center in the field. Secondly, the center sprint with a dedicated team of Specialist Doctors, Nurses, and technicians.  Thirdly, they are under the wise leadership of Dr. JC Suri, Pulmonologist & former Head of the Department for Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, which he headed from 1990 to 2018.

Father of Sleep Medicine in India

As the first Pulmonologist in India, Dr. JC Suri has got more experience in this field. Dr. JC Suri has set up the first physician-run Intensive Care Unit in Northern India with the aim to provide integrated diagnostic, supportive and therapeutic services to critically ill patients. As a result, he is also regarded as the father of Sleep Medicine in India and is credited for establishing the first sleep laboratory in the country in 1990.

The center is located in the Qutab Institutional Area, which is serene and quiet surroundings with a lush green Sanjay van in the backdrop and the iconic Qutub Minar overlooking the Hospital building. As a result, it provides, the most conducive and healing environment for the fast recovery of patients.  With a patient-centric approach and focus on delivering quality healthcare, the center is a humble beginning to offer care and cure to patients who are critically ill and to those suffering from respiratory and sleep-related disorders.
